Wayne, a producer of rugged, dependable, and innovative dispenser equipment, knew they could improve on current models. With IDEO’s help, we created a fail-proof, full self-service pump prototype that anyone can use. Research included surveying drivers at the RMV and gas station customers, working as gas station attendants, and surveillance of how people interacted at the fuel pumps.
